We had a good nap today...

....Mostly because everyone (including Sadie) was so exhausted by Norah's pill of a night. We're putting some of "The Happiest Baby on the Block" tips into action tonight, and so far so good...but let's not jinx it....

To Clarify...

If Ethan ever tells you he ate "rotten noodles" for lunch, we aren't rotten parents....

"rotten noodles"=="ramen noodles"

Cheap Thrills

Chris and I actually got to witness the clock on our cable box jump from 1:59 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. this morning. We may not celebrate New Year's around here, but we GET DOWN with daylight savings time coming to an end.

Here's our conversation while feeding Audrey and Norah:

Chris: Here's the question. Do you think the clock will go to 2:00 or straight to 3:00?

Michelle: Hmm...I don't know.... No, I think it will go to 2:00..... What do you think?

Chris: It's gotta change sometime....

(Silence while staring at 1:59........Then BOOM...3:00!)

Michelle: Ahhh, Whoooah....

And the dumb thing is, I really thought that was exciting.

It's obvious we have not been out much in the last couple months....

She's home, but...

...maybe we can work out a deal with the NICU, in which we have Audrey during the days, but we drop her off around 10:00 p.m. for all her night feedings....

I took care of Norah last night like I have been for a couple weeks, but Chris was in charge of Audrey. Chris LOVES his sleep....NEEDS his sleep (who of us doesn't, right?)...topped with the fact that he thinks the sound of crying infants could be used as a torture device to get information from war prisoners...I'm pretty sure he was plotting his escape out of this family somewhere around 2:30 a.m. However, he did a FANTASTIC job with her and I am so very, very grateful for an amazing husband. He has been so helpful with the kids, the house, and all things in-between the past couple weeks.

CHRIS, I LOVE YOU!!!!!

It's Official!

We're ALL home!! 37 total days in the NICU and we survived!!

love: Chris, Michelle, Ethan, Audrey, and Norah (boy, that looks great!)

The update we didn't expect...

Chris just called to get the morning update.

They said, "Come and get her! She's ready to go!"

Dr. M came and reviewed her charts and said there's no reason she needs to stay another night! We're going to pick her up, suitcase in hand to pack up all the clothes she's accumulated, and bring our baby girl home!!

Jesus, my Jesus, we thank YOU!!!!!!
