Don't be jealous!

Just try to contain yourself. I don't want to be responsible for provoking anyone to jealousies...he,he,he.....

We're so thankful to God to have been able to spend this time together...

Make video montages at www.OneTrueMedia.com

It's so late and I've spent waaay too much time here at the computer catching up on our vacation pictures, so I'll be back later to update!~

Seriously, I can't feel my face. I'm THAT tired.

The Big Girl Chart!

I'm supposed to be packing right now, but I'd find any, and I mean ANY, excuse to not pack. I don't care how exciting a trip is in store, I h-a-t-e packing, if I may so use that ugly word. In fact, packing is on my Top 5 List of Things I Can't Stand Doing. Other things on that list would include vomiting, looking at cockroaches, and...OK, I can only come up with two other things, so packing is on my Top 3 List of Things I Can't Stand Doing. How about a 15-month-old post I've been meaning to get up about the girls...

Audrey and Norah turned 15 months on April 23, and for the first time, their measurements got them a spot on the "Big Girl" chart (that is, the regular growth chart; up until this point, they were so small, their growth curve had to be followed on a preemie chart for their adjusted age. They were born at 33 weeks, 2 days, just a few weeks early for twins).

Their stats are:
Audrey: 18.12 lbs (2%)
29 in (12%)

Norah: 19.5 lbs (5%)
29.25 in (17%) Surely Norah's extra 9 oz. are in her cheeks!

Audrey has the Alpha Dog personality right now. Her weapon of choice is her teeth, but I've only seen her bite Norah. She loves Sadie and her Big Brubby, Ethan. She acts "So super silly" by tilting her head and lifting her arm, spinning around, and falling down. She has 4 teeth--two on top and two on the bottom--but I'm sure more are coming through. The girl can eat until the cows come home! She is really brave and loves to climb on anything.

Norah is such a sweetie pie. She loves to snuggle and give loves to Sadie. She has also found a payback weapon--hair pulling! Since Audrey has the pony tails, Norah uses it to her advantage :) Norah's "thing" is collecting stuff. She will make collections of things, like socks or chalk or underwear or small toys and hold as many as she can in her hands. When that becomes too cumbersome, she will put them in a purse or a shopping cart and wheel them around. She's very protective of her collections! Norah also loves to put things on....her clothes, my clothes, brother's clothes. She will often come out of a room with several pair of underwear around her head. Right now she has Grandma's flip-flop on and she's shuffling around the living room. Norah has 3 teeth--one on top and two on the bottom--and she also has several just below the surface. Norah still loves her Gigi Giraffe to snuggle with (in fact she has 3--a "collection" if you will--that she loves to caress and suck on when she goes to sleep). Norah's silly game is to run away laughing any time I call to her for meals, diaper changes, bath, getting dressed, etc.

My friend and I were feeling crafty, so we sewed our daughters pillowcase dresses from this floral fabric above and made them these corker bows. I was further procrastinating on packing earlier this week, so I tried my hand at sewing the girls these skirts and applique t-shirts.

All together, I sewed 3 dresses, 4 shirts, and 2 skirts...with an end "usable" result of 2 dresses, 2 shirts, and 2 skirts :) :)

Yellow!

Our little man tested for his yellow belt in Hapkido last weekend! We're so proud of him!

He cracked himself (and me) up this morning. He was showing me some of his awesome moves, then he tried to contain his laughter:
"Hey Mom, you know what they call private parts in Hapkido? Gooooodies"......rolls into hysterical laughter.
Oh man, slang for parts. Hopefully this won't get too interesting.

30(ish) Day Progress Report

We've just finished our fifth week of our 90-day whipping, and can't believe we haven't missed a workout yet--Praise God!

Actual conversation taking place right now:
Michelle: Oh my gosh, these workouts are so fun! Chris, what do you want to say about it?

Chris: I don't know. Nothin'. I'm just gonna sit here and eat Twizzlers. Do we have any cake left?
So there's the proof--you can workout six days a week, still eat like poo, AND make a body difference :) :)

Day 1/Day30

Day 1/Day 30

Go ahead and gawk. Just say it. I'm getting man-arms :( I can't help it. I get muscles really fast even though I use a low weight. Chris said I'm the only person he's heard complaining about "getting too good of results" (which is not what I said, but that's how he interpreted it).

And this last picture is the most shocking. The most shocking and most disgusting. Seriously I gasped. I cringed. Then I showed my mom. She gasped and held her hand over her mouth like I showed her a picture of my arm cut off. Why do I have a man-back? Chris thinks it's funny and that I should keep working out hard "just to see what happens at the end of 90 days", like I'm a science experiment. But seriously, if this is how big I got in 30 days, I'm SCARED to find out what will happen in 60 more days.

I don't know how this happened! I guess the pull-ups? or the push-ups? If I don't even know how it happened, how can I keep from turning into a manlady?

:(

Aside from the manback, I love, love how fun and challenging the workouts are (and Tony Horton is a little easy on the eyes...AND funny...I'm a sucker for funny). It has been great investing this time with my sweetie (Chris, not Tony), and I'm so proud of him!!
