And it's comfortable!

The babies like it!

And it actually is hands-free!
Here we are playing soccer with Ethan---which the girls just GIGGLE over!

We even tried it out at the park!

...Ooops, not ready yet...
There we go!

And here's my baby at 4 months. My precious. Remember this, Sarah?

YEY for slings! Are those two hotslings, or is that the twin carrier you mentioned in a previous post? Whatever it is - yey for hands free baby carrying!! Woohoo! (Can't quite imagine getting in and out of that is easy - I struggle with one ... but hey, if it works, it works!)

Yes, two hotslings. Not too hard, either, so long as no one is crying!

Hi, i have been following your blog from tww feb, but i know you are in texas too. Is it really hot when wearing both of them, how big are your duo? Is it plausible for long periods?? Sorry for all the questions, but im always looking for ideas to make it eaiser to get out alone.

oh and can you put them in alone like from a carseat or do you need assitance and a place to pick them up from...

Hey Kari, glad to see you on here! Maya and Aurora are getting so big!! Too cute!

At our last weight check about 2 weeks ago, Audrey was 12.5 lbs and Norah was 13.14 lbs. It does get a little hot when we're outside, but it's hot whether I'm wearing them or not ;)

I can put them in and take them out alone. It helps if I have something to prop my foot on to take them out--the crib edge, car, stroller, a chair. Then I just pop one out from the bottom, place her down in her car seat, crib, etc., then take the other one out.

I place them in the exact way you would place just one in the hip carry--tummy to tummy, then slide bottom in first into the pocket, pulling the flat piece up the back.

It's REALLY comfortable. The other day I wore them to the park for over 1/2 hour while playing light sabers with Ethan....So it's definitely a usable hold. I wore them around BRU the other day and both fell asleep. It gets heavy, but the weight is distributed through upper body and back, so it doesn't pull uncomfortably on my neck or shoulders.

I hope that helps! Good luck and let me know if I can answer any more questions for you!

BTW, I am using two Hotslings, which are now available at BRU. I have also seen lots of used ones at consignment stores. Just make sure you get a good fit. My pink one is a hand-me-down, and it's too big, but I fold it over my shoulder for a better fit. It would be more comfortable if it was a size or two smaller.

Girl, that is hilarious! I love it! Glad you were able to et them to work. I know the sling makes my life SOOOO much easier. What size Hotsling do you need? I actually have an extra - I think it's a size 3? Target sent me 2.

Lizze, score on the extra sling from Target!! My hand-me-down is a size 3. I'm not sure if I need a 1 or 2. I bought my first one before they were sold in stores so the size is different--it is an xs/s. Thanks for the offer!
